My Thoughts:  I was first introduced to Warren's The Purpose Driven Live about 6 years ago and the book is and continues to be one of my favorite published works.  Warren suggest readers indulge in the book one chapter at a time.  This allows time for the principles to marinate and for the reader to better understand what they've just read.  After reading a chapter, you'll probably want to continue reading another, but The Purpose Driven Life What on Earth Am I Here For? , like its predecessor is best read one chapter at a time.  

Warren has a way of writing which binds the reader to the material in a way unlike any other.  From the first page to the last, you are reminded of how special you are.  You are unlike any other of God's creations and the Master has a plan for you.  A guidebook?  Not necessarily as Warren tackles complex Christian theologies but breaks them down so the principles may be applied to your daily life.

The addition of weblinks and extended audio bring the book to the digital age which is sure to garner a new crowd of readers.  If you are not familiar with The Purpose Driven Life you are in for a treat.  Those who have read and/or studied the series will enjoy the updated version and may find themselves wanting to revisit the studies once again.

Whenever I play Rayman games, my head spins. These crazy characters are an active bunch, but loads of fun and that's probably why the series has lasted so long.  Ubisoft scored a win with this version which is sure to appeal to old and new fans alike.

Have you ever wished you could be a superhero and save the day?  If so, Marvel The Avengers Battle for Earth is the game for you.  You can take on the persona of your favorite Marvel character and join in the battle.  The game is rated T for Teen, but the game is fun for the entire workout.  There's also a fighting element, as well as, an excellent storyline.  The graphics are intense and the reaction time is absolutely amazing!!!  

 

Initially I sat back and watched as Los Tres Amigos indulged in the game, but it wasn't long before this gaming mama wanted to join in the fun.  Marvel The Avengers Battle for Earth is a workout.  You have to punch, kick, and imitate some of your favorite superhero moves.  The punches and kicks are pretty easy to master, but some of the other moves required a little practice like the roundhouse kicks and above the head power moves.  
 

With over 20 different characters to choose from there's bound to be a character you'll, I mean the gamers in your house, will want to be.  Our home echoed with chants of "You're going down" and "Boom-pow" as we engaged in battles against each other.

There are six game modes:

• Co-Op
• Versus
• Campaign
• Arcade
• Challenges 
• Tournament

I've only played the game in Co-Op, Versus and Tournament modes, which reminds me I have a tournament tomorrow night.  Me (Scarlet Witch) and the youngest of Los Tres Amigos (Iceman) are bringing the pain.  However, Los Tres Amigos have sampled some of the other game modes and the game is still in high rotation at the Three Boys and an Old Lady household.  

So whether you're a fan of the comic book Avengers or the blockbuster movies, you are in for a treat.  Marvel The Avengers Battle for Earth is a must have addition to your video game library and it's available for the Kinect and WiiU.

Rabbids Rumble for Nintendo 3DS #RabbidsR #spon

The crazy Rabbids rabbits are at it again in the latest addition to the Rabbids family of games.

Rabbids have been around for a few years.  I remember the first Rabbids game we bought was a PC game for my nephew at a school book fair several years ago.  These Rabbids, well, they've come a long way.  Still quick, but the graphics are more vibrant, the reaction time is quick and the action is faster.  Gamers will have fun training rabbids and competing with friends in a variety of challenges.  7 worlds means gamers will be busy for a while training their rabbids and collecting new ones.  In fact, Rabbids Rumble 3DS gives you access to special downloadable rabbids each week.

Poptropica Nintendo DS #UbiPoptropica #Spon

Los Tres Amigos have been playing Poptropica online for a little over a year and were pretty excited to see Poptropica available for Nintendo DS.

The release of Poptropica Adventures on Nintendo DS means the kids can play their favorite game anywhere without worrying about being connected to the internet.  The DS version has all the creative aspects of the online version - kids can create an avatar and accessorize to their liking + the story is easy to follow.  Rated E for everyone, the game is perfect for kids who have played Poptropica online.  However, the DS version is limited and if your child is really into Poptropica they will probably complete the entire game in a few days like mine did.  

Overall, fans like Los Tres Amigos will be very excited to see their fave online game in a DS version. I hope Ubisoft will consider releasing a Nintendo DSi or 3DS version which will allow kids to connect with more virtual Poptropica worlds.
