Horses for Nintendo 3DS Review #UbiChamps

They want a horse.  They cannot have a horse.  Fortunately, we have a friend who has a ranch and occasionally lets the kids saddle up and ride the horses.  The kids were psyched when the Horses 3D for Nintendo 3DS game arrived.  The youngest two have had so much fun playing the game and taking care of their horses.  I love it because it keeps 'em occupied and entertained for hours on end.

My thoughts:  The graphics on Horses 3D are awesome.  Crisp and clear and the reaction time is precise.  I am a fan of the video pet games.  These type games are perfect for players of any age and there's something lifelike about taking care of a virtual animal and seeing the results of your nurturing as you progress throughout the game.  One of the most unique features of Horses 3D for Nintendo 3DS is the ability to choose a horse based on their breed, speed and attitude.  Nintendo does a great job presenting characteristics of particular breed.  For example, if you want a horse that's easy to train, you may wish to forgo selecting a Mustang and opt for an Arabian.
